Death

The end of a chapter...

Have you ever looked into the eyes of a cat and wondered, ‘what’s going on in that little head of yours?’

Cats are many things: playful, mischievous, downright menaces but there is one thing they are not – careless. They serve as our faithful companions, even when they stray far from home, they never leave us. They journey with us until they can no longer but this is not where their journey ends.

Cats...

Cats can get a pretty bad wrap sometimes. They can be standoffish and fiercely independent because you're living in their world, not yours. But overall, cats serve as guides for their human companions, supporting them through our lows and celebrating with our accomplishments. Though on the outside our feline friends can often seem indifferent to us, they are actually much too busy most of the time preparing. Preparing for what, you may wonder? For death, of course.

Our feline friends...

Our feline friends may leave our physical plane of existence but that does not mean they leave us entirely. In fact, they're quite busy, busy waiting for you. Our passed fur babies must prepare and wait for the human’s arrival into the first of the nine realms: the transition into the Underworld.

Remember...

It is important to stress that our feline companions are exactly that, companions, such as they are not our servants. They assist humans as a guide through the afterlife through the nine realms of existence: transition, remembrance, grief, acceptance, repentance, destruction, creation, immortality, and rebirth

Transition (AKA death)

When a living thing enters this realm, their pain immediately senses. They still maintain there memories of their lives but they are aware they they are dead. This is where they first meet their cat guide.

Remembrance

The cat guide will lthead them into the next plane which consists of an endless horizon of mirrors. Each mirror possess a different memory that was significant to that person's life.

Grief

Grieving period for a life reaching the end of its chapter.

Acceptance

After grief, no matter how long it may last, there is acceptance.

Repentance

Repenting for any and all wrongdoings one may have done while alive in order to enter the afterlife brand new.

Destruction, creation, immortality and rebirth....

To destroy is to create, to create is to destroy.

Go hug your fur babies for me!
